The KEYHOLDERS

STOP-GAP non-profit organization ( www.stopgap.org ) has created a new support group called the KEYHOLDERS which helps support the therapeutic and educational workshops with battered women and children at shelters Southern California . KEYHOLDERS refers to the gentlemen who join the "100 Persian Men Against Domestic Violence" campaign.

The KEYHOLDERS Steering Committee consists of 20 honorable Iranian-American gentlemen who have pledged to help raise the level of awareness in the community by supporting this and other educational programs through STOP-GAP.

The KEYHOLDERS ' Steering Committee also helped create a proclamation, which will be signed by 100 honorable Persian men and will be endorsed by the Orange County Board of Supervisors, for recognition of this philanthropic effort. Through this document, the gentlemen have the opportunity to help the women of our community while re-brand/re-design our image as Iranian American men who care deeply about the welfare of women and children and will not tolerate violence against women.

Each gentleman who signs, will be asked to donate $1,000 which will help women and children in shelters re-build their lives. Your 100% tax-deductible donation includes 2 complimentary tickets to the gala celebration in Orange County when the goal is met.
