Don Laffoon, STOP-GAP Executive Director, received the 2007 Ambassador of Peace Award from the Violence Prevention Coalition of Orange County in June 2007.
Co-founder and Executive Director Don Laffoon was awarded the 2006 Crystal Vision Award for the most gifted and creative leader through the Employees Community Fund of Boeing, California .
The Shining Light Award 2006 was presented to Don Laffoon honoring him for his advocacy and work in the field to further the protection of abused children.

Co-founder and Executive Director Don Laffoon was awarded the 2004 DOVE Award from Human Options , which recognizes individuals who have made a significant contribution to domestic violence prevention, education and service programs in Orange County.
